ADHD Diagnosis on the Rise
There has been an increase of children diagnosed with Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder in the US. There has been an increase from 7 percent in 1998-2000 to 9 percent in 2001-2009.
“For the present report, it was not possible to discern whether growing prevalence indicates a true change in prevalence or increased detection and diagnosis of ADHD.”
